Allow more customization for today's grid view on desktop app

I use Journey on a 13" Macbook and it seems to force so many of the modals to the first column that I must scroll to see them, and with no visual indication that there's more to see, I simply forget they are there. No amount of drag and drop helps this - if I move something from the bottom of the first column, something else slides into it's place.

You cannot know what size of screen we each have, or the workflow we'd like to create. This app is so lovely to use, why not allow us to set our screen up in the way that works best for each of us? I know the focus is on mobile, but with so many of us wanting to limit our time on these devices to be more present in the world, a little more love for desktop would be appreciated.
