Changing Colors on Mac

When I change the color of a block (journal, list, etc) on Mac to a custom color, two problems happen: 1. The color that the block changes to is not the color I chose 2. The color does not sync to my iPhone app. I only get correct colors and syncing if I change the color settings from my phone.
